Hey guys I am coming along on the website www.chrisfarleyfanclub.com. There are a few things that I'm not sold on yet but I wanted to get full feedback from you guys to see what I need to add and subtract. Thanks!
Um, well first off when you try to sign up for the "fan club" it says this:
Join Click on a link below to purchase a Shania Twain Fan Club membership. Enter the activation code you receive into the box below.
I'll be the first to admit that I've listened to "Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under". However, this does not make me want to join her fanclub.
Other things:
1. none of the linked pages have a link back to the homepage, not a good design IMO
2. the heading of the site looks like its for a Euro-Dance club. The name and in turn "feel" of the site should be fun, or at least reflective of Chris.
3. I could probably have some guys at work soup this up.
On another note, why not make this idea "bigger". As in, call it "Farleyville" or "Tommytown" and devote it to all stuff that would embody Farley. It would be easier to sell stuff and to generate ad revenue. For example, you have a part of the site called "Prehistoric Forest" and you sell Prehistoric Forest" t-shirts and have links to dinosaur shit all over the US and have links to the "actual prehistoric forest." Maybe a Google Map mashup of all the places and things you could do on a Chris Farley pilgrimage (Beverly Hills Hotel, Lewis and Clark trail, Prehistoric Forest, etc).
Cameron this is genius. I know you want to help me on this and I think we should do it. We could actually create a killer site. Anyone else have some thoughts on this? Thanks man
